What is Mercy?

Mercy is a text adventure game I made to test my abilities in C programming. My goal was to adapt most mechanics you would find in a full open world action-adventure game into a text-based format. Mercy launches in command prompt, and the entire game is controlled through menus using numbered options—enter the number associated with an option to perform that action.

Obviously, this project isn't trying to live up to giants in the action-adventure space but instead be a small, feature-rich experience that can be played on almost any computer.
